Steve Fagan's Retirement: Celebrating a Legacy of Dedication

After more than 20 years with us, Steve Fagan has officially retired. From his early days as a site supervisor to his impactful role as a workshop supervisor, Steve has been a pillar of our team.

To celebrate his retirement, we organised a heartfelt coffee and cake morning where colleagues shared stories, laughter, and even a few tears.

Steve's influence extended beyond his technical skills; he mentored many, including Paul Gibson and Chris Boden-Hook, both of whom credit Steve for invaluable lessons in leadership and teamwork.

Delivering Excellence: Steelwork Package for a Key Client

We've recently completed the fabrication and supply of a substantial steelwork package, including handrailing and open mesh flooring, for a significant client.

The project involved 50 tons of steel, all fabricated to S275/355 grade and finished with a C5 specification in silver/grey. The handrails and kick flats have been galvanised to ensure durability and safety.

This meticulous project aligns with BSEN 1090-2 Execution Class 2 standards, showcasing our commitment to quality and precision in every detail.

Delivering High-Quality Conveyor Solutions

We’re proud to showcase our latest delivery of high-quality conveyor rollers from GURTEC , produced by this renowned German manufacturer and distributed exclusively by us in the UK.

These durable and precision-engineered rollers are designed to withstand heavy industrial loads and ensure smooth, efficient operation across a range of material handling applications. Successful Conveyor Replacement for UK Steel Producer

We have successfully commissioned a replacement conveyor (C37) for a leading UK steel producer.

The new 37-metre conveyor, featuring a 1200mm wide belt, replaces a damaged radial stacker and now operates as a fixed inclined conveyor.

Designed to handle 350 tonnes per hour, it is equipped with GURTEC idlers and Martin Engineering UK scrapers. The upgrade enhances the efficiency of the metal recovery facility initially constructed by us in 2005, exemplifying our capacity to deliver innovative solutions for evolving operational needs.

Silo Fabrication for Silica Sand Production in Cheshire

Our recent fabrication work involves constructing four massive silos, each with a 300-tonne capacity, for a high-quality silica sand producer in Cheshire.

Made from mild steel with varying plate thicknesses, these silos were fabricated in compliance with BSEN 1090-2 EXC2 standards and finished with a 2pac painted coating using our in-house facilities. They are fabricated in one piece for road transport and will be delivered in a convoy with a police escort, ensuring safe and efficient transit.
