In Junction hackathons, we bring together developers, designers and other tech-minded people to create new projects and solve intriguing challenges. In order to offer our participants the most stimulating problems and latest technology, we partner with roughly 60 companies yearly. In addition, we organize meetups, speaker events, workshops and more. The event-filled year peaks annually with our flagship event, Junction, held in Finland with around 1500 developers and designers in attendance every year.
We believe that technology is a powerful tool when used right, and everybody should have the possibility to build meaningful things with it: that's why all of our events are centered around learning and creating with technology.

The trump card of the joint events is practical content, during which new innovation trends and tools are introduced, skills are exchanged to solve innovation-related challenges, contacts are established both with each other and with start-ups, and cooperation agreements are concluded.
The ultimate goal of all activities is to achieve real cooperation, which Tehnopol helps to implement through personal mentoring.
TalTech Circular Economy Core Lab (CECL) connects TalTech researchers who are investigating the circular economy in their specific research topic. CECL is a co-working platform for the researchers.

To build sustainability measure points for your activities. First, you need to map them and see the changes annually. To plan the measure points - for that here are some hints:
Hint 1: Participate in the full-online course "Circular Economy for Materials Processing." registration for the Spring semester 2024 is already open. The course is awarded with "E-education Quality Mark".
Hint 2: Recently the Horizon 2020 project RE-SOURCING was ended. Download the sector Roadmaps and other useful materials from the project outputs.
Hint 3: Recently the Horizon 2020 project SUMEX was ended. See the sustainability cases in extractive industries. To get an overview of the sustainability in extractive industries, then listen to the podcast that summarises it. If you have your own opinion on that, then let's discuss that here (LinkedIn group): Sustainable Management in the Extractive Sector: Navigating Challenges and Forging New Paths
This summarises some of the entrepreneurial mindset and part of the journey in #Year2023 .
