From Odoo roadshows to the live launch breakfast of Australia's 1st Odoo Community-OPUC(Odoo Power Users Community), followed by its online encore, to tech conferences and a series of exciting webinars, our 2023 event calendar was a testament to the power of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the pursuit of cutting-edge advancements in the world of Odoo.

Let’s Revisit the Events of 2023!

Odoo Roadshows, Australia 2023

The Odoo roadshows, Australia 2023 kicked off on the 28th of March at the House of the Arts (HOTA) in Gold Coast, followed by another at the Capri by Fraser in Brisbane on the 30th of March.???

The next stop for Odoo was Fraser Suites in Sydney on the 8th of August. And wrapping up for the year with a final appearance at the Westin, Melbourne on the 10th of August.

From exciting discussions to insightful demonstrations, engaging Q&A sessions, and fostering valuable connections, the events were a success, proving to be truly exceptional.

Empowering the attendees with Insights: Jeri, WAO's co-founder and Chief Solutions Architect, took the stage at each event, generously sharing her extensive knowledge and experience, as she spoke of "CloudERP (Odoo) Vs Integrated Apps (Xero + Addons).

Digital Transformation Live

WAO joined hands with Odoo on the 8th and 9th of June and headed on over to the ICC in Sydney, co-sponsoring the Digital Transformation Live, Australia’s largest ICT trade show.?

The trade show was a gathering of tech enthusiasts, over 250 speakers, and tech exhibitors.?

Odoo Power Users Community (OPUC) Launch Breakfast

The Odoo Power Users Community (OPUC) Launch Breakfast was held on the 22nd of September at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park Hotel.??

The initiative was a joint effort brought together by Australia’s Odoo experts and pioneers: WAO, Port Cities, and Odoo migration experts OLaunch.?

The OPUC Launch Breakfast was organised to bring together Odoo users in the ANZ region for networking and learning as well as to officially launch Australia’s first Odoo community. The event took place from 7 AM to 9 AM and was a huge success with some of the brightest Odoo minds in Australia sharing their experience and expertise with the attendees.?

The event took place over a scrumptious seated breakfast that most certainly fueled the minds of the attendees. With live demonstrations, interactive discussions, and Q&A sessions, the launch breakfast was a grand success.??

WAO launched a series of Live Odoo Demonstrations steered by our Senior Solutions Architect, Odessa Reyes.

The monthly live demonstrations kicked off on the 14th of November 2023, focusing on navigating through the fundamental processes of most product manufacturing and service businesses, demonstrating the core workflow, from creating quotations to triggering a manufacturing order, all the way to invoicing, while effectively managing the intricate processes behind the scenes in real-time.?
