As our autumn adventure in the breathtaking Swiss Alps town of Lenk comes to a close, we’re reflecting on what made this workation so special—and what we’ve learned along the way. Here are some key highlights from hosting 30+ participants in this stunning location:
?? Adapting to a Larger Group Scaling up from smaller groups to 30+ participants presented exciting opportunities and challenges. It required us to rethink dynamics and logistics while ensuring everyone had a valuable and seamless experience.
?? Skill-Sharing and Collaboration With so many talented individuals gathered, the exchange of ideas and skills was incredible. These interactions remain a cornerstone of our workations, fostering growth and connection.
?? The Importance of Activities Balancing work and leisure is crucial in a workation setting. To enhance participants’ experiences, we organized 5–6 optional activities per week based on their interests. These included:

These activities not only enriched the experience but also provided opportunities to unwind, bond, and recharge.
?? Balancing Privacy and Social Interaction In a larger group, maintaining the right balance between autonomy and community became even more important. We aimed to give everyone the freedom to choose their level of engagement—whether diving into activities or enjoying quiet, independent moments.
?? Managing Common Spaces With more participants, maintaining clean and organized common areas became a challenge. To improve future workations, we’ll introduce simple guidelines to ensure these shared spaces remain enjoyable for everyone.
As this Hubs edition wraps up, we’re filled with gratitude for our amazing participants, local partner Ferienlenk , and the picturesque Lenk community. Every workation teaches us something new, and we’re excited to carry these lessons forward into our next destination!
