WRAP UP FOR THE “MAGIC 12”
? Over the last two weeks, we have talked a lot about “The Magic 12.” But, before we end this series, we want to repeat some of the big overriding principles of taking care of your health. So, we feel compelled to repeat those as follows:
1.???The vast majority of Americans have little to NO idea how much power and control they have over their good health. As a result, most Americans do not realize how bad habits hurt their health and how much good habits can significantly improve their health, and most of all, their wellness.
2.???But, the truth is your habits can and will influence your longevity, and your good health, by up to 10 years or more. That’s right!! How you treat your body can change how long and how well you live by up to an entire decade, i.e., 10 years or more.
3.???If you chose unhealthy and destructive health practices, you will cut 10 years or more from your life expectancy. But, if you follow lifestyle habits that improve your daily health, you can increase your life expectancy by 10 years or more.

4.???Generally speaking, this is news to most Americans. Yes, they might hear bits and pieces of this from time to time in the news and elsewhere. But, in their daily lives, they just do not realize how much difference their actions and daily practices make.
5.???Most Americans believe it is the job of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals to make and keep them healthy. Dead wrong!!! Keeping yourself in good health is primarily your job!! So yes, health professionals can be a big, big help. But no one has the everyday power you have to get healthy and stay healthy.
We sincerely hope you have enjoyed this “Magic 12.” But more than that, we hope you have a much better idea of how to get and stay healthy. And finally, we hope that with these 12 guides, YOU will experience a much healthier, happier, and longer life!!
