Viima’s evolution
Turning 10 this year, Viima got a facelift to celebrate. We revamped Viima’s UX, making it not just more beautiful, modern and intuitive, but also more powerful with the highly requested Kanban view and workflow automation feature.
We also added new board templates to facilitate your innovation processes. What is a Viima board you might ask? A Viima board represents a single use case. This could be anything from a continuous process, a one-off idea campaign, or even a board for facilitating a workshop. Board templates help you get started, so that you can focus on making minor tweaks to match your precise needs, as opposed to setting everything up from scratch.
You can start with templates for continuous improvement, idea validation, open innovation, brainstorming, phase-gate and more. As expected, the three most popular board templates that customer used this year are those for continuous improvement, brainstorming and innovation management.
At first glance, Viima helps you collect, evaluate, prioritize and develop ideas. But Viima is more than that and it’s rewarding to learn in the conversations with our customers that there are so many more ways in which they use Viima to build a culture of innovation and achieve their goals. The more they use it, the more excited they get to discover all it can do.
To give everyone a better first-hand experience, the new Help Center has been integrated into Viima to guide you in your innovation journey.

Looking ahead to 2024
As a HYPE product, Viima will be able to provide even more comprehensive solutions as well as seamless integration between the HYPE Suite of products. Viima customers can also start benefiting from accelerated development as we work on shared features across all HYPE products.
This includes some of the many AI features we're already working on. Finally, Agile Innovation Management will be one of our main focus areas in 2024. The world is moving faster than ever, and we want to empower organizations to adapt swiftly to these challenging times by excelling at innovation.
