URGENT: The Washoe Public Guardians are currently putting on the 2nd annual Wrapped in Love Donation event and are in need of your help!
?The Washoe County Public Guardian's Office is still in need of:
- Over 100 robes so that each of our Protected People receive something warm a cozy! These can be purchased through our Amazon List or Costco has robes around $12. - Lots of gift bags/ reusable Christmas themed shopping bags! Please see listing below. "This year the Washoe County Public Guardian's office will soon be hosting another "Wrapped in Love" donation drive for our protected persons. In addition to collecting items for our vulnerable clients, we are also asking for reusable Christmas themed shopping bags, Christmas gift bags (medium to extra-large sizes), and tissue paper. Due to the time and travel associated with delivering gifts, wrapping paper usually ends up torn. The reusable bags hold up well and then the person gets to reuse it throughout the year. TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Home Goods, etc. have great bags for about a $0.99- $1.99 each. The deadline for donations is Friday 12/20/24. Please deliver donations to the WCPG office during normal business hours, 2265 Green Vista Dr. Suite 405 Sparks, NV 89431.
