WPI launches sweeping robot solution based on NXP products

As a kind of household labor robot, the ability to accurately perceive the surrounding environment and independently conduct path planning and navigation is a prerequisite for efficient cleaning. In order to improve the robot's perception capabilities, Dalian Shiping launched a sweeping robot solution based on NXP i.MX RT1010. This solution integrates a high-definition camera module and sensor board, which can accurately identify the surrounding environment and meet the application needs of sweeping robots.

This solution is divided into two parts: Camera Board and Sensor Board. Among them, Camera Board serves as the main control board, with i.MX RT1010 MCU as the core. The i.MX RT1010 MCU is based on the Arm? Cortex?-M7 core, has 128KB SRAM and a main frequency of up to 500MHz, and integrates rich peripheral resources to provide developers with greater design space. Camera Board can connect the OV7670 camera module and LCD module as a camera module to meet the application requirements of video image capture. Sensor Board integrates various sensors including air pressure, ambient light, spectrum, ToF, etc., which can effectively improve the robot's environmental perception capabilities.

• Supports AW21024 LED Driver to control 6 groups of RGB lights to produce various lighting effects;
• Supports NSPGS2F035DT09 air pressure sensor to measure the air pressure data of the current environment;
• Supports ToF TMF8801 ranging sensor to measure the distance between the sensor and the object in front;
• Supports TMD2755 proximity and ambient light sensor, measuring the proximity of the object in front to the sensor, as well as the ambient light intensity and infrared light intensity;
• Supports TCS3440 spectrum sensor, which has 8 visible light channels and can calculate the color temperature and light intensity of ambient light.
