WPC Completes Another Senior Living Community in Florida - Madison Highlands

WPC recently completed another affordable senior housing community with development partners American Residential Communities (ARC) and New South Residential, LLC. Madison Highlands is located at 5315 N 37th Street in Tampa, Florida. This 6 story, 102-unit affordable senior housing community offers six unique floor plans ranging from 576 to 858 square feet. Residents enjoy a variety of lifestyle centered amenities including: billiards room, fitness center, activity room, pool, picnic pavilion, and more.

Madison Highlands is WPC’s fourth Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project for this developer. The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) is a resource for creating affordable housing in The United States. Created by the Tax Reform Act of 1986, the LIHTC program gives State and local LIHTC-allocating agencies the equivalent of approximately $8 billion in annual budget authority to issue tax credits for the acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction of rental housing targeted to lower-income households.
