Cyrus gave a preview of what fans might see on Sunday when she takes the stage in front of 7,500 “health care heroes” to perform at the Super Bowl for the “TikTok Tailgate” pre-show.
In one clip posted on Wednesday (Feb. 3), Miley does a slow-motion twirl in front of a dressing room mirror rocking high-heeled black boots, black bikini bottoms and a space-age, shimmery pink and black bikini top with “FTW” emblazoned across the chest. “MILEY: FOR THE WIN!” she wrote alongside a football, heart and skull and crossbones emoji in the pic where where flaunts her take on a traditional cheerleader outfit with a bipartisan “For the Win” message.
In a second video, Cyrus can be seen sprinting on a treadmill while singing along to Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl,” hitting every note with ease while matching her pace to the beat of the track. (The band retweeted the clip with the eyes emoji.)
The show will go down before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs take the field a few hours later, with Miley hitting the stage at 2:30 p.m. ET. on CBS and TikTok.
She won’t be the only musical act before and during the game: H.E.R. will perform “America the Beautiful” and Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church will sing the National Anthem at this year’s kick-off show at 6 p.m. ET. The Weeknd is the headline performer of the 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.
