Once I had decided that I would be completely flipping the formerly known

'WOW Web Network'

upside down and inside out to create something entirely new, I wanted to have all it launched and out there in a jiffy!

I always referred to WOW as my 'accidental' business. I had no plan when I first started a BookFace group and began putting on some networking events.

?It wasn't my intention that it would become an actual proper business, because I really wasn't expecting it to become so popular throughout the pandemic years!

The world was a weird place back then and I know I was not alone in my haphazard approach because a lot of us just went along with whatever was working for us during that time.

I embarked upon a very steep learning curve, soaking up as much information as I could and teaching myself everything I needed to know. From eventbrite to canva, from websites to design, from copywriting to automations, from social media to videos.

?

My eager brain quickly became exceptionally full and I discovered skills I didn't realise I had. I'm quite a tenacious person, I hate to be beaten and am like the proverbial 'dog with a bone' when I get it in my head that I want to achieve something!

People would be full of praise and admiration for various things I would compose, create, and produce for them. With each new element I added into my ever growing portfolio of 'stuff I can do' other people were amazed.

Despite it being an incredibly challenging year thus far, I have allowed myself the time to stop, and to think, for the first time in what feels like forever, about what I really want my business to represent.

I decided I want to incorporate everything I'm good at, and there's an awful lot I'm pretty shit hot at! My own diminished sense of self worth has never let me admit that before, but I'm now listening to the good, actually, the incredible things people say about me, and to me!

It is with an intentional slower pace because I want everything that will be encompassed to be utterly fantastic. I don't want to rush things because I'm impatient, I don't want to 'half-arse' it, I want to give myself the time to launch in a blaze of glory!

I have my work cut out for me, I keep having moments of panic that I'm taking on too much. Then I speak to people who have my back, who believe in me and see my vision and how valuable what I am going to be offering will be to a wide range of business owners.

I'm excited to start showing the world my wares, and I'm also nervous in case nobody likes what I'm doing and is mean to me! Crazy, right?! However, I am assured that this is all perfectly normal and even the most successful people have their little 'what if everyone hates me' demons popping up to cause mischief occasionally!

Actually, there are techically two things and I have poured soooooo much time and energy into creating these that I'm so happy they are finally good to go! I've decided to produce these particular items because I find the world of AI totally fascinating, there is so much that can be used for good; particularly when it comes to business.

To save me waffling on any longer than I already have, I honestly start to write something quick and simple, and then it's like my brain and my fingers join forces to conspire against me and decide that they will go off on a whole little adventure, tap tap tapping away all of their own accord!
