Would you publicly tell people what you eat on a weekly basis.

The question that I wanted to ask today, because I see people always me on a weekly, if not daily basis, for advice on diet.

Now I know a majority of the people who read this, and have probably asked for advice, will say no- particularly those that struggle with their weight.

They wouldn't publicly admit and show exactly what they've eaten.

Or if they would, they would be embarrassed about it.

That suggests to me that we already have a basic idea of what to eat in order to be healthy.

We're just choosing to eat different to that usually based on our emotions rather than on our logic.

So the reason why I've asked this is because I want you to think about that. I want you to tell yourself what is the point in eating that if you wouldn't publicly admit to it.

I mean, I will publicly admit that I eat a little bit of junk here and there, because I love it.

But I do tend to eat 70 to 80% really healthy, balanced foods, so that it allows me to still hit my goals, and still feel comfortable with my body.

Because it's all about balance. I focus on four numbers in my diet and thats literally all that matters....

1. Calories.

2. Protein.

3. Fat.

4. Carbohydrates.

To me, nothing else really matters, as long as I get those numbers right, based on what my goal is at the time, I am happy.

And it doesn't bother me what food I get it from.

So please, next time you're thinking about your diet, or your thinking about asking someone for help with your diet, answer that question first and foremost.

Because if the answer is no, you wouldn't happily share it publicly, you probably know that you can improve your diet, and know how to do it without the help.

What you probably do need is the accountability and  support to make sure you don't slip off of the wagon. Which Elly and I are pretty good at doing.

So if you want that, and you want to have Elly and I looking over your food diet on a daily basis giving you personalised feedback...
