Would You Like to Travel With Me?

Travelling with me isn’t exactly relaxing. At least, according to my wife.

I’ve been known to change rooms 3-4 times.

I’m very particular about details.

Bathrooms with natural light, sheets and blankets instead of duvets, the type of cup I like my coffee served in, the shape of a champagne glass.

I notice things like background music, elevator noise, a television playing an advertisement of the hotel with panpipes in the background, any obstruction to the view, check-in procedures, the presence (or lack of) of a guest-facing General Manager.

I don’t need to meet every member of personnel, especially when I have just arrived after a long transatlantic flight. Neither do I particularly enjoy having three consecutive waiters ask me whether I want still or sparkling water when I might not want water at all. I hate buffets. Period.

Apparently, I complain. But I don’t really see it as complaining. I’m just not afraid to ask for things that will make me a happier guest.

So when I suggested going to Costa Rica, my wife didn’t exactly look overjoyed. It’s not that she doesn’t love travelling. She just knows that this type of trip is likely to be the polar opposite of relaxing.

Why? Because I leave no stone unturned. Not even the tiniest little pieces of flint. That’s how I have trained a team of people to take care of the world’s most expectant travellers. Travellers who have stayed loyal to?Nota?Bene?year in, year out.

I dig out the insider details that no one else tells you about. You won’t find this sort of guidance on the oversaturated internet and you certainly won’t get it from a travel agent.

And when I return and brief my team on how to curate the ultimate Costa Rica trip, they’ll learn exactly where to stay and be immersed in the most magnificent rainforest scenery; the most exhilarating lodge experience; where to direct clients who want an an all-encompassing luxury resort hotel, or a small, highly secluded, luxury tented affair immersed in nature, the beach, a low-key ambience.

I’ll give them an inside track on the real world-class villas (without the amplification favoured by most websites, villa companies and travel providers), key people to know on the ground, when to use private aviation, how to create the ultimate day trips and with which private guides.

?

They’ll receive my low down on the restaurant scene and the tourist traps to avoid. I generally disagree with most press hyperbole and I tell it as it is. For the benefit of the knowledgeable, experienced traveller, who appreciates authenticity, beauty and sophisticated, simple luxury.

Does that sound like you? If so, speak to me?directly by scheduling?a call.
