Employees are craving connection after 2+ years of the pandemic. To foster community, HR tech platform ChartHop invited their employees to CampHop, a weekend retreat organized by the company in Lake George, New York. The adult summer camp vibe helped employees relax, reconnect and have a little fun, says CEO Ian White. "It can be isolating and distancing to only see coworkers as boxes on a Zoom screen or lines of text in the Slack channel. If you're not going to have an office, you need to create the space for those in-person connections to form." White talked about CampHop and how to create community, even when employees are remote:

Employers may be ramping up Pride celebrations and signaling their support for the LGBTQ community, but not all employees are feeling the love.
