In today's edition of Executive Physiques, I am providing a little productivity hack!
Do you regularly procrastinate and put off the more ‘difficult’ tasks?
One of the best things I have started doing in terms of productivity is smashing out the toughest task on the to do list first thing ??
Eating the frog ?? as they call it!
Early on in the day, willpower and focus will be higher than later in the day so it’s the ideal time to attack the toughest task!
The toughest task is often the most important one and the one that will drive you forward ?? instead of the less important, inane tasks we tend to focus on just because they are easy and we can tick something off quicker!
The most difficult task usually isn’t as difficult as you have built it up to be in your head, and once you get it ticked off, the rest of the day will feel like a breeze ??
It also won’t be hanging over you until the end of the day, when you will be more likely to put it off until the next day!
This week, take a look at your to do list and make sure to attack the most important/difficult tasks first ??
