A massive sandbox set in space, EVE Frontier positions the player as the last relic of humanity in a struggle against annihilation. Players can create custom currency, establish markets, and engage in combat with “rogue AI prowling space.” The company is planning to launch a closed playtest in the near future, and raised $40 million last year for its blockchain-related projects.

?? DeLorean Motor Company has hit web3! The company recently joined forces with the digital motorsports hub Motorverse to bring their sports cars to gaming and motorsports. DeLorean’s iconic DMC-12 sports car is the newest addition to Motorverse’s blockchain-powered network of vehicles. Will Griffiths, the GM of Motorverse, commented that “[DeLorean’s] commitment to precision engineering and luxury” aligns with their mission to offer “the best possible gaming and motorsport experiences powered by web3 technology”. DeLorean’s web3 arm DeLorean Labs has also recently unveiled a collaboration with Mysten Labs.?

?? Flappy Bird returned this week as a Telegram crypto game, but its original creator, Dong Nguyen, denies involvement. Michael Roberts is the “Chief Creative” of the new Flappy Bird Foundation Group - in February last year, he announced on X that he had become the owner of? “the brand/game Flappy Bird,” and was working to “bring it into Web3”. Nguyen recently tweeted to clarify that he doesn’t support crypto and has no relation to the game. Flappy Bird’s revival date has been teased to be 2025, with “new game modes, characters, progression, and massive multiplayer challenges”. Initial screenshots point to new battle royale and basketball modes, and new characters.
