Would you believe it if I said great firms really do exist?

Have you ever wanted to work for an Architecture firm that not only talks about developing an outstanding firm culture but actually takes actions to make it happen??

What about one that practices transparency and elevates the voices of all of their employees equally (as in those who have been there ten plus years and those who have been there less than ten weeks)??What about one that believes that an Architecture firm needs to constantly be evolving and not stuck in the stagnant “but it’s always been that way” approach to leadership?

Would you believe me if I told you that there are firms like that out there???

Recently, after having chatted with my good friend Michael Celauro, I have come to discover that firms like this do in fact exist.?It isn’t just some magical fairy tale like Santa Claus - circulating out there just to bring you some workplace joy.?

There are firms that really give a sh*t about their employees and work to keep them happy, healthy, and on board.?And, these firms don’t just show up once a year either!??

Michael’s own firm, Summit Design and Engineering, really exemplifies what the firms of the future should look like.?Michael first introduced me to what his firm was all about back when he was a workshop presenter at last year's Winter Series (2021).?You see, once his firm heard that he would be speaking at the conference, they didn’t just tell him they supported him, they showed him by making a super generous sponsorship to the conference.?

These types of sponsorships allow Young Architect to continue hosting conferences at affordable prices geared towards the professional development of the next generation.

My whole team was blown away by this offering.?In the past we have had to work to acquire sponsors that align with our missions (we deny anyone looking to make a quick sale off our attendees or those whose missions do not align) so to have a firm of this caliber just offer...?WOW!

Michael’s journey with Summit has really grown since his presentation at the first Winter Series, and in fact, he got himself a pretty cool promotion recently.?We were so inspired by his ability to position himself exactly where he wanted and needed to be inspired us to bring him back as a keynote for the upcoming Winter Series (January 20th - 24th).

I am so excited to once again partner with Michael and Summit for a sponsorship opportunity at the Young Architect Conferences.?This partnership, along with those that Summit fosters with its valued employees and clients - really makes us believe.

What about you??Have you had the wonderful opportunity to work for a cool firm like Summit?

Thank you for the shout out!!We are fortunate to have Michael Celauro, AIA on the team!

Thank you for all you do at Young Architect in supporting the architecture community. As a member for several years now, I have experienced first hand the genuine passion you have in supporting others and that directly aligns with the values at Summit. We appreciate the partnership and look forward to growing it further.
