Worthy of Love
From my book “Desires of Your Heart”.
Worthy of Love
She had come full circle from where she had begun;
Now she just looked to the west and the setting sun.
Sometimes she questioned her self-worth when it came to love;
It was at these troubled times she asked why, to God above.
Was she truly worthy of love she asked herself at this time;
This was the thought that now crossed the caverns of her mind.
Her thoughts took her back in time and she thought of him;
At times she wondered if she could ever be loved like that again.
The questions came flashing across her mind like rays of the sunset;
Had she let true love slip by, while playing loves roulette?
Your self-worth is your decision to make alone;
Belief in yourself has to be the foundation and your cornerstone.
You must truly feel worthy of love to find it one day;
Don’t be too quick to give up and just walk away.
Believe in yourself and all that God has created you to be;
Let go and let God guide you to your destiny.
Tell yourself that you deserve the best and are truly worthy of love;
Then pray that God will guide your steps from up above.
Your self-worth is comprised by the way that you think;
Change is up to you but belief in yourself is the link.
So go forward with your head held high;
Believe in yourself and in true love, and to your fears, say goodbye.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Psalm 139:13-15
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35
