Is it worth paying $2.99 a month to save nearly 4 hours in one week?

Welcome back to "Just One Small Thing". My aim is to share short and simple tips that you can implement straight away to start improving your small business today. Would that be useful?

Firstly, let me make it very clear that this is not an affiliate marketing article. I'll make no money from this and Text Blaze hasn't asked me to do it. They don't even know that I am sharing this.

Do you find yourself typing the same thing over and over again to different people on different websites and social media platforms? I did. I also thought that if only there was some kind of easy copy and paste mechanism I'd use it to deliver longer and more powerful messages accurately.

Then I bumped into Text Blaze and suddenly the world of communicating quickly without taking loads of time opened up to me. Have a look at this video to see how it works.

You can try it free for as long as you like but that plan is really limited. May I suggest that you risk a massive $2.99 (£2.21 at the time of writing) per month so you can really test it out. I currently have 112 different snippets saved in Text Blaze which I can add to any text box online, including Gmail, Buffer and all the Social Media channels.

I get a weekly report to remind me how much time I've saved. This particular week it was 226 minutes which works out to an hourly rate of just 20 US cents. That's a bargain.

Let me share some use cases with you. I'm a heavy LinkedIn user. I send and receive loads of messages. I also receive loads of connection requests etc. So, I have a bunch of different snippets designed as a good base for all responses in different circumstances. Let me explain. My home market is Milton Keynes (MK) a very fast growing city in England, United Kingdom. If I get a connection request from MK I hit reply and in the message box all I type is l2. Those two characters, which I've set myself, then trigger a multi paragraph message which includes an invitation to my local networks, links and all my personal contact details. Not only is it very quick but I can also be sure that everything is spelt correctly and the links all work. No mistakes. If I'm responding to somebody in the UK but outside of MK I use l1 and that delivers a different targeted message.

You can see from the pie chart above that 43% of my use that week was for the code "ld17" which I remember because it mean "Link December 17th". This is the link where people can book a place at my networking event on December 17th. You'll also notice 25% were for "d17". This contains a complete multi paragraph invitation text to the same meeting. Then you can see "e1". This is a short piece of text with a link to the page on my website where people can find the dates of future meetings. Lastly, you can see "l8". This code types out a multi paragraph response to anybody connecting with me from outside the UK. It politely indicates that I'm very happy to connect with them but I neither sell my products outside the UK nor buy anything from anybody for my business outside the UK. This really does save a bundle of time.

The use of this tool is only limited by your imagination. Every time you find yourself typing the same stuff more than once create a snippet and you'll never have to type it again.

I use it for a variety of web page links. I also use it for regular discount and promo codes. I even use the code "os1" to type out my "Online Signature" with my contacts details which I think stands out to people on LinkedIn and elsewhere as very few other people do it. (see it below)

What can you do with Text Blaze? I'd love to hear your feedback.

Mark, this is good but... I personally use a Samsung S9+. From Samsung and Microsoft they produce an application that allows me to view my phone on my desktop. From here I can send the same text, email content to a whole host of people, within a few clicks and it's free. Must need to spend a few seconds syncing my phone and laptop once and the rest is history, they then pair automatically. This app called 'Your Phone Companion' saves me so much time and effort. Its very similar when i sync WhatsApp to my laptop via a browser, a god send... Thanks for the tip ??

sounds like Neil Sinclair would love this automation too ! ! !
