And The Award For Worst Resume Goes To...

To say I have reviewed many resumes is an understatement. In my 10 years of owning a recruiting agency I have seen some resumes that needed tweaks and some resumes that needed over hauls but never in my life have I seen a resume like this!

This one is by far the worst one I have ever seen and even the untrained eye could see why. I ended up printing it taking a picture as I just couldn't believe my eyes. Now, I would love to say in all fairness it was sent with a detailed cover letter as it was, however what is below is completely inexcusable. Even without experience, you can do certainly do better then this.

Take note, if you want to work, you have to work at it.

Think about this: If you were a manager and took a resume from a student which is more than awesome, let's say it's perfect; but when you met the candidate, you see that he has no self esteem. Would you lend him a hand to develop his self esteem? Most of the recruiters won't even think about the opportunity... Once again, it's not the recruiter's job to check if the resume is well written; the person have to make sure it have something more than decent, even to be verified! A LOT OF A*S KICKING IS LOST!

I totally agree with Oumarou. I would like to add that we should help people develop in every way.

This is a very unkind post. The candidate is obviously a recent high school graduate. She is clearly trying to make an effort to create her resume in English although she's been educated in French. I hope you took the opportunity to coach her on how to write an effective resume. It looks like she could use some guidance.
