The world's simplest PowerPoint hack

So I was hoping to (without claiming to be the least bit qualified) steal five minutes of your time to share the number one, super-simplest thing you can do, starting today, to make your PowerPoint decks just a little bit more fun. Here it comes, and this is true for almost any line you might want to draw - If you want to draw a line, don't use the straight line tools.

That's it. That's the tip.

Evidence below. Boring:

Slightly less boring. Possibly even a little bit fun:

The alternative you might want to consider to your straight lines is the Curve tool. It's here, and if you anchor your line just a little off, two or three times before double-clicking to finish it, you end up with a nice curved, or at least slightly imperfect line. Much more fun to look at, for the most part.

Also, drawing lines like this might be the only time in your life you'll get away with using the Comic Sans font and you know you've been wanting to ever since your third-grade essay on rabbits back in elementary school.
