The world’s most expensive cities

The world’s most expensive cities

Hello from New York, where renting even a cosy studio apartment is a luxury that few can afford. To my surprise, New York lost its top spot as the world’s most expensive city in 2023, though it kept the crown for the priciest place in North America. These rankings are always popular among our readers. But in 2023 we doubled down on quantifying the cost of living, publishing regional indices for people to chew over. You can read some of my favourites below. And, if you have an idea for an index you’d like to see in the new year, you can get in touch with us at [email protected].

I thought that my country had one of the most expensive costs of living, but that is not the case. It all depends on your point of view and who you compare yourself to. However, it is important to improve strategies to reduce living costs or raise the income of people. The expensive costs aren't the problem, its causes are the ones. The reasons for the issue are simple: insufficient supply or excessive demand, In the same way, both have several causes depending on the context and what it is putting us thinking about how to manage our public and private finances. But the most essential is to believe and obey God and act according to his principles of life. When we forget them, difficulties appear and even worse don't find solutions, it crosses all cultures and countries on earth, it doesn't depend on context; although many people don't believe it.

Mexico City has become one of the best cities to live, the prices are higher than ever but never like in NY or San Diego!
