The world's highest 140 meters of onshore wind power installation

Congratulations. In Hebei China Baixiang Wind Power Station, in a space of only 200 square meters, the all-terrain crane successfully lifted the impeller with a maximum diameter of 141 meters and installed it at a height of 140 meters.

The assembled impeller and the spreader have a total weight of nearly 90 tons, from the ground level to the successful docking of the cabin. The whole process takes only 40 minutes, and all 80 bolts are tightened and installed in one and a half hours. The entire rotary and vertical lifting process perfectly overcomes the disturbance of wind direction transients and exhibits strong micro-motion and excellent precision. Excluding the gale waiting time, the first wind turbine generator system was effectively installed for only 3 days, and the efficiency was nearly doubled.

The rapid development has accelerated the escalation of demand for the Chinese wind power industry. From plains to mountains, from high altitudes to low wind speeds, the “absolute height” of Chinese wind power installations continues to increase. The 120-meter fan has become the mainstream, and the application of the 140-meter fan is also speeding up.
