An exclusive peek inside London's glitziest Diwali party
On Friday 18 October 2024, a host of lucky invitees attended Condé Nast Traveller’s annual Diwali party, hosted in collaboration with Cartier at The Dorchester, one of London's most iconic hotels. Guests, from Bollywood stars to British Asian artists and entrepreneurs, gathered to celebrate one of the most important dates in the Hindu calendar – Diwali, the Festival of Lights. For thousands of years, Diwali has marked the victory of good over evil and light over darkness, with people symbolically illuminating their homes and workplaces and gathering together with family and friends. In keeping with the theme, guests were encouraged to ‘bring their sparkle' – and they certainly did. See more event highlights here.
