Welcome to the latest edition of DigiVerse Mondays with Moon.
Your bi-weekly newsletter with latest trends in AI and Digital Marketing explained in simplest forms.
So what's new from this week?
????From the world's first AI Software Engineer to an AI Robot interacting with voice and action.
???? From the TikTok ban in the US to Apple asking to use Google’s Gemini.
???? From Sam Altman’s prediction on Marketing jobs to OpenAI's new launch Sora
There’s lots happening in the world of AI and social media. But don't worry, I am here to keep you up to date with the latest and greatest.
????Also from this week onwards, I am adding a bonus section.
In the past I have reviewed more than 200 AI tools and shared a list of top 10 tools. From this edition onwards, I’ll be reviewing one AI tool each time across Marketing, content creation, resume , job search, productivity etc.
So let's start with probably the BIGGEST news in AI this year!! ????
Meet Devin : The world's first AI software engineer!! ????
I remember my software engineering days when it would take me weeks if not months to write SDLCs, research, write code, test, add into production and then work on the release. ??
But now Devin, the new AI tool, can write code, and create websites, and software with just a single prompt. ????
Devin was created by the tech company Cognition Labs.
In this demo, you can see Devin was completing a real job posted on Upwork
Devin also correctly resolved almost 14% of GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects (better than many developers)
2. Imagine what would it be if ChatGPT has a body?
Figure 01 robot is running a new Visual Language Model (VLM) that has somehow transformed the bot from a rather uninteresting automaton into a full-fledged sci-fi bot that approaches C-3PO-level capabilities.
Text prompts are already becoming a thing of the past.
Figure 01 is capable of having a real-time voice conversation with you? — and it sounds exactly like conversations with the OpenAI ChatGPT Voice option in the app.?
Images are captured from onboard cameras to provide the robot with a visual context so that when the human opposite it mentions he’s hungry, Figure 01 identifies an apple within reach and hands it over. We go from “Can I have something to eat?” to apple delivered successfully to the human hand in around 10 seconds.
Wow!!
3. Sam Altman said that AI Will Replace 95% of Creative Marketing Work
Sam Altman apparently predicted that AI will replace 95% of creative marketing work that is currently outsourced to agencies.
He sees AGI (artificial general intelligence) being introduced in the next 5 years.
That means having an omnipotent algorithm capable of solving complex tasks by figuring out the process itself.
When asked about what AGI means for brands, he said:
"It will mean that 95% of what marketers use agencies, strategists, and creative professionals for today will easily, nearly instantly, and at almost no cost be handled by the AI — and the AI will likely be able to test the creative against real or synthetic customer focus groups for predicting results and optimizing. Again, all free, instant, and nearly perfect. Images, videos, campaign ideas? No problem."

Wow!! That's some prediction for future.
All the marketers in the house? What are your thoughts?
4. US House passes bill that could ban TikTok nationwide
The US House of Representatives has approved a significant bill with potential to ban TikTok in the country.
If passed, the bill would require TikTok's Chinese parent company, ByteDance, to sell its controlling stake within six months, or the app would face a US blockage.
ByteDance, founded in 2012, is based in Beijing but registered in the Cayman Islands, with offices across Europe and the US. President Joe Biden has indicated he would sign the bill, which could strain relations with China.
If approved, ByteDance would need Chinese approval for a forced divestiture, a move Beijing opposes. Lawmakers, such as Mike Gallagher, argue against allowing a Chinese-owned company, beholden to the Chinese Communist Party, to control a dominant news platform in the US.
TikTok has tried to reassure regulators by claiming to have segregated data from its 150 million US users from ByteDance employees in China. However, concerns persist, as investigations, including one by the Wall Street Journal, revealed data sharing between TikTok in the US and ByteDance in China.
5. Apple Can’t Build AI, So It's Reportedly Asking Google Gemini to Power Siri
Apple is talking with Google about using Google's Gemini AI engine in the iPhone. This could be a big deal in the AI world.
Apple has largely been absent from the AI conversation in 2023, leading to great speculation that the iPhone giant may be falling behind Google and OpenAI.
However, CEO Tim Cook promised a major AI announcement this year, largely expected at WWDC in June. The company has reportedly built an AI chatbot, Apple GPT, which employees say is inferior to ChatGPT and Gemini.
This report seems to confirm that Apple doesn’t have much up its sleeve, as the Cupertino giant looks to outsource the iPhone’s AI features.
The companies are discussing letting Apple use Gemini to power new features in iPhone software this year. Apple has also talked with OpenAI about using its model.
An Apple partnership in AI would give Google a huge advantage over American competitors such as OpenAI and Anthropic. It would put Google Gemini in the face of over a billion iPhone users.
And now time for the AI Tool of the week...Drumrolls please :) ????
This week I am reviewing Copy.AI
The search for a budget-friendly all-in-one AI writing tool ends with Copy.ai.
I have tried and tested many copywriting tools as an editor and content creator, In my opinion, Copy.ai creates both short- and long-form content and is suited best for small businesses or freelancers on a budget.
What sets Copy.ai apart is its user-friendly interface and swift operation.
Its quick and easy to use.
With minimal learning curve, users can dive right into utilizing the tool right away
The quality of the content the AI generates is generally good, and it speeds up the writing process.
You can use the templates and prompts to get suggestions on how to make the most of the tool.
And with that's its a wrap to this week's newsletter.
Hope you enjoyed reading this week’s edition.
I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below ??
