Imagine a reality where therapy is not a distant dream, but a readily available tool. No longer would finances or long wait times be insurmountable obstacles. We, the warriors of chronic illness, deserve a healthcare system that prioritizes both body and mind.

This revolution would be a beacon of hope, shattering the stigma that shrouds mental health concerns. No longer would seeking help be seen as weakness, but a testament to our strength, our unwavering commitment to reclaiming our lives. Therapy would become a badge of honor, a symbol of our fight for wholeness.

Consider the ripple effect of such a transformation. Early intervention would become the norm, equipping us with the tools to navigate the emotional storms that accompany chronic illness. I hear you. It's heartbreaking how chronic illness often isolates us. Mental health support is crucial for everyone, especially those of us facing chronic conditions.?

My career in health / fitness and well-being is supported by my research and study into psychological and physical health. Our physical body and mind are one, and they affect each other, this is my belief it may not be the same as others. Our mental/psychological health can affect our physical well-being and vice versa. there are life-threatening physical conditions that are severe and there are physical conditions small like a paper cut, ouch! I think The same is true for our mental health we may have smaller concerns and more extremes concerns from the effects of trauma. I’m glad you advocate for mental well-being to help others become more conscious of our psychology and that seeing a therapist is the same as seeing a physician as you said it is part of our journey in creating a well life. also as you say I think society sees a physical health condition like heart disease as acceptable and yet the psychological concerns contributing to heart disease are not as acceptable. Thank you for educating & transforming healthcare! ????????
