The World of Video Game Music - big orchestral concert in Sofia, Bulgaria - March 14
On March 14 in Sofia, Bulgaria there will be a big ORCHESTRAL CONCERT OF VIDEO GAME MUSIC. It's presented by Cantus Firmus Music Agency and will take place in the beautiful "Bulgaria" Concert hall. On this night, magnificent game music -- the heir of the great symphonic tradition -- will sound in this beautiful classical space. Themes from blockbuster games will be performed by 70-piece orchestra - World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Uncharted 2, Fallout 4, Overwatch, Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Divinity: Original Sin 2, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Gears of War 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and others.
Maestra Amy Andersson (of the Zelda World Tour fame) will conduct, alongside Guest Composer-Conductor Neal Acree. I and Borislav Slavov (Crysis 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2) have been invited as guest composers as well. The featured composers are: Neal Acree, Jessica Curry, Greg Edmonson, Steve Jablonsky, Grant Kirkhope, Borislav Slavov, Chance Thomas, Jack Wall, Inon Zur and I. The concert is sponsored by a grant from America for Bulgaria Foundation.
