This championship title marks yet another milestone in Lennart's?already impressive career. Previously crowned the European Freestyle Champion, and PWA Vice World Champion, he’s now reached the top spot?as the world’s best freestyler. His journey, from learning to windsurf in?Greece to competing on the international stage, reflects his dedication and love to the sport, a passion that resonates deeply with the entire SEVERNE brand.

RADICULO STYLING HIS WAY?UP TO THE TOP FOUR

Another impressive achievement was accomplished by Mister Freestyle, Balz “Radiculo” Müller, who ended the year in fourth place. Radiculo came off a spectacular performance in windy Fuerteventura and showed no intention of giving up his fourth place. On the contrary, Balz was on a mission to claim a podium spot and stormed through the first rounds of the single elimination on his Foilstyle gear. This decision raised some doubts about whether it was within the legal allowances of the sport, but Balz had carefully read the rulebook before heading out to compete on the foil. Unfortunately, the freestyle fleet could not finish the single elimination due to light winds, and Radiculo remains stoked with his fourth place in this year's PWA Freestyle World Tour.

TEAM SEVERNE CLINCHED ANOTHER TWO PODIUMS

The event kicked off with strong onshore winds, allowing for a men’s and women’s wave single elimination to be held. Sylt's challenging onshore conditions lit a fire in Sol Degrieck, taking her to an impressive third-place finish in the women’s division. Current women's wave?leader Lina Erpenstein had to settle for fourth, and Pauline Katz ended up in 9th place.

On the men's side of the draw, Philip K?ster?finished in 5th, while Liam Dunkerbeck?and Dieter van der Eyken advanced one round to finish in 9th place. Federico Morisio, competing despite a knee injury, placed 17th. As the wind got lighter and shifted offshore, foil slalom racing took center stage, with seven eliminations for the men and thirteen for the women. Blanca Alabau?took a hard-fought third place in the women’s division after multiple tough battles with Marion Mortefon. Femke van der Veen finished in 5th.

In men’s foil slalom, Amado Vrieswijk placed 8th and Matteo Iachino?9th, facing challenging races compared to their stellar performances last year, where they ended in second and first place, respectively. Seaweed added an extra difficulty to the races, affecting all the?riders. Fabian Wolf climbed up to?14th, Cedric Bordes finished 18th, and Benoit Merceur?came in 24th.
