Beyond the numbers, vanity metrics, and KPIs… There is one thing more important than these numbers that we, as online business owners, should keep track of. And it’s got nothing to do with how to track the success of an online business… It’s got more to do with how you, as the founder, feel about what you are doing. And that is by asking yourself the question “Why?” In my case, it will be “Why Money?”
In this week’s special episode, I’m joining one of my Money Wound Medicine students, Marlee Winnick, on her podcast! And honestly, it was such a beautiful experience for me… This interview reinforced my soul mission of putting more money into the hands of people from all over the world.
What we talked about inside this special episode:
I’ve been asked different versions of this question many times… And it’s always a beautiful experience to talk about why I choose to help people with their personal finance struggles. As kids, we believed everything people (especially adults) told us about ourselves. And these things are the roots of how we mostly feel about ourselves and the things we deserve as adults (including money).
I call these Money Wounds. They’re unhealed childhood trauma stored deep in our subconscious - making us question how we should feel about different parts of our lives. And this includes wealth and abundance. If we were told (or showed) a lot as kids that we don’t deserve the things we want… It will affect our relationship with wealth as adults.
And here’s the kicker… Most people don’t know they’re dealing with these Money Wounds.
You’ll notice this when your internal dialogue looks something like “They’ll think I’m ambitious for buying this expensive car.” Or “I shouldn’t charge too much for my services even if I can overdeliver.” And the most common… “I don’t think I should have this much money with me.”

The negative self-talk affects our behavior when it comes to wealth. And this is why I choose to help clients and students (and listeners of my podcast) with their personal finance. Because for me… It’s more than just the numbers in our bank accounts. These are unhealed traumas that should be dealt with gently.
If you’re curious to hear about the 6 Money Wounds… I encourage you to join me and my Money Wound Student, Marlee Winnick, inside her podcast. I will talk about all of them… How they show up… And what you can do to heal them.
This is such a special episode and I don’t want you to miss it.
I even shared a few things I NEVER included inside Money Wound Medicine and my recently published book Wounds to Wealth. I’m sure you’ll pick up gold nuggets from listening in to the interview.
Our relationship with money and wealth is just as important… It shows how we see self-worth. And I’d love for as many people to see that Money Wounds exist and they block safe and abundant wealth from flowing into your lives… So if you have the time, I’d love for you to share this episode with people who you know will benefit from hearing about Money Wounds.
I will be GRATEFUL even if you share it with just one person!

Em
