The world will not be the same after Corona!

Because we are human beings and health is what matters the most to all of us with no exception, more than money, more than happiness and more than anything else, count with me what could happen because of corona:
- Birth control, for few months or a year, people will decide not to bring babies to this world, its risky, assuming this is down 10% in 2020, this is a slowdown across the board in population growth.
- Climate Change, I don’t have the figures, but the decline in pollution both from industrial and transportation alone could help achieve the desired goals faster.
- Healthy Food, this is the time when most people who didn’t follow a healthy diet – will be prompted to or at least be interested in one or introduced to one way or another – less junk food, less on the go meals. Prepare your own food, organic & well cooked: even better.
- Hygiene: the world after corona will never again be like before corona, people will get used to washing hands more often, perhaps washing after using the toilet more often among many other habits; possibly leading to less illnesses due to lack of hygiene
- More adaptation to online things: many countries lag when it comes to adapting technology and online. A good example is working from home which allows a mother to take care of her babies while working. This also means reduction in cost for the employee (commuting & nurseries for example) and the employer (office space). In countries where banking is done by visiting the bank, people will get more used to online and automated banking transactions. Opportunity for digital banking! Everything digital.
- Customer service remotely: already a trend will be even more needed, and people used to it. Remote human support?
- More investment in internet and digital: as it is essential to achieve 5 and 6.
- Healthcare systems: every country will assess its healthcare system and reassess to improve and get ready for similar challenges.
- Health screening at airports: unfortunately, this could be added to visa requirements and even just before boarding on to the plane, you will go through some tests – other countries cannot take your shit!
- Political greed: will regimes be more tolerant and collaborative, or will this make them greedier; lets see. Is this the end to EU and similar models?
- Sexual monogamy: could be back on the rise. People after corona will get used to taking less risk. This wasn’t a race or any group specific virus. Anyone could have it.
- Religious gatherings: mainly will be less attended for a while at least – at least by those who prioritise their health over their religious duties. This could impact Umrah and hajj numbers for couple of years? How will global tourism change?
- Other forms of gatherings such as weddings and clubbing will see some changes – at least for a while. Eventually new celebration and social habits will see the light!
- Sanitisers could become part of our everyday life and social gatherings.
- Heath will become number one item on the agenda of every candidate running for any kind of elections, not the economy.
- Public transportation will have to innovate and reconsider its practices. Will we ever see London tube as busy? Will be a cap on the number of passengers per trip?
- Are airplane toilets and seats going to remain the same?
- Are people going to change their eating habits? Less animals perhaps?
- Are we going to spend more time, again, with family?
- Are we going to be better humans?
While some habits will change for a short time, then go back to normal, others will become the norm, and others will lead to birth of new ones: a mix of old and new habits; and same goes for good and services as well as events.
