The World Problems I Am Solving
To everyone involved in the eco-friendly/sustainable niche, whether you are an entrepreneur or consumer, I would like to take this opportunity to properly introduce myself!
My name is Filip Jastrzebski and I am an entrepreneur who at least in my mind has committed his life completely to the fight against climate change.
I am motivated by the negative projections of what will happen this century if we do not act fast. Although climate change presents a multitude of issues if I had to choose one that motivates me more than any of the others, it is the Climate Refugee Crisis.
With 200,000,000 people expected to be displaced by 2050 due to flooding and lower agricultural outputs, I am willing to give everything I can to help them.
The first step to doing that is to stop accelerating climate change to prevent even more climate refugees. If we fail to do this, we will not be able to keep up with helping the ever more increasing number of displaced people.
As one man, I cannot be involved in everything but the areas where I am working now are:
- Stopping deforestation by reforesting our planet.
- Helping consumers to learn and purchase ONLY eco-friendly/sustainable products.
On point 1:
I am the marketing & operations director of a promising tree-planting not-for-profit, Tree-Nation.
We are an e-commerce platform that connects climate aware people and companies with verified tree-planting projects around the world, that not only reforest land but also help local communities to make a living, produce food, conduct scientific research and so much more!
We have planted nearly 2,000,000 trees in 2020 and are on course for 5,000,000 trees in 2021. Our main ambition is to get to 100,000,000 trees planted per year and I am working on the plan to get there every day.
On point 2:
I have founded Ecom Tactics, an agency focused on helping ONLY entrepreneurs who have eco-friendly/sustainable products to grow their business.
We work with companies just starting out who have no sales, while also with companies who are already at the 5, 6 or 7 figure revenue mark and help them use the same strategies that we know work for the eco-friendly/sustainable niche in order to scale their business.
I wake up every day filled with energy and drive as I am in love with what I am doing and would not even be able to think of a better way to spend my life.
