The World PR Report 2023-2024 has been published by the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), in which I represent Ukraine and The United PR Association of Ukraine.
?? The report is based on a survey of 300 PR leaders conducted from August to September 2023.
I contributed to this report by preparing an overview based on data from Eastern Europe.
The full text of my review can be found in the report
?? Some global key trends and challenges I saw in the report:
- PR agencies expect growth despite the economic challenges.
- It is believed that agencies should focus on sectors such as IT, technology and financial services to grow their business.
- Agencies will invest in AI-based tools to increase efficiency and improve service delivery.
- There is a growing emphasis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, reflecting a shift towards sustainable development and ethical business practices.
- Talent management and mental health in the workplace are critical areas, and agencies are looking to improve diversity, equity and inclusion.
- The PR industry is facing ethical challenges, including misinformation.
