world physical therapy day held at Shifa

World Physical Therapy Day was observed at Shifa International Hospital.

Day was celebrated with a special focus on this year’s theme i.e. low back pain (LBP) and the role of physiotherapy in its management and prevention. The event highlighted the importance of physiotherapy in addressing this common issue.

Malik Muhammad Uzair, Director Operations at Shifa International Hospital, commended the efforts of the Rehabilitation Department's physiotherapists for incorporating best practices to provide optimal care for patients.

Muhammad Kashif Khan, Associate General Manager (AGM) of the Rehabilitation Department at Shifa International Hospital, emphasized the crucial role of physiotherapy and remarked that the profession not only encourages development and supports recovery but also enables individuals to remain in the workforce and maintain their independence for as long as possible.
