World Photography Day - August 19

On this day in 1839 Louis Daguerre revealed the Daguerreotype in Paris (https://www.daguerreobase.org/en/knowledge-base/what-is-a-daguerreotype).
And today is World Photography Day.
According to Phototutorial https://www.smays.com/2024/03/how-many-pictures/ 5 billion pictures are made every day.
Context, McDonald's sells 6.5 million burgers a day.
So just because there are a lot, doesn't make them all good or amazing - but it does make them meaningful as a capture of a moment you won't ever get back.
Make sure to take, or be in, a picture today - a well-composed or hastily made picture is the only way to get today back.
