World Pharmacists Day 2024: Celebrating Pharmacists at Difarmed and Beyond

On September 25th, 2024, we proudly join the global community in celebrating World Pharmacists Day, with the theme “Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs.” International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) . This year’s theme highlights the indispensable role that pharmacists play in ensuring access to essential medicines and improving patient care worldwide.

Pharmacists are at the heart of our healthcare systems. They are often the first point of contact for health advice, disease prevention, and patient education, particularly in resource-limited settings. From administering vaccines and conducting health screenings to leading public health campaigns and ensuring the responsible use of antibiotics, pharmacists have proven their pivotal role in promoting public health. Their contribution during global health crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, further emphasizes their importance in safeguarding communities.

At Difarmed, we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of ten pharmacists, Rubén Martínez Sánchez , Sandra Alonso Serrano , Ana Novak , Sara Redondi , Lara Bachs de Miquel , Gabriel Branco , Tatiana Brand?o , Joao Silva , Cynthia Llobet Vilarrasa , Simona Siclari .Working across all our departments, from regulatory affairs to quality assurance, sales and purchasing all led by our founder Jean-Hugues M. a pharmacists himself! Their expertise and commitment drive our mission to provide high-quality, affordable medicines. We thank them for their tireless efforts in helping us deliver the best service to our clients and patients.
