The World Needs Your Business

The World Needs Your Business

According to Dell, by 2025 the world needs 600 million new jobs to cope with the growing population of working age. And, as Dell points out, those jobs are unlikely to come from big corporations like them, but from entrepreneurs and small businesses.

?One of the most important ways to support entrepreneurs is through start-ups and small businesses.?

If you think small businesses and start-ups are changing the world, you are not alone. To get this process going, business managers and owners should focus on two things.?

  1. Plan for profit and aim to create value for all stakeholders in addition to shareholders.?
  2. Put together an efficient marketing team or use a virtual assistant that creates value not only for the company and profits but also for sustainable social and environmental projects that are in line with the company.

I am here to help you build a sustainable business with your ideas, messages and stories so you can reach more people and help them. With coaching and training programs, you begin to influence what you want to do in the world.?

Whatever your big story, message or idea is, let us take it out into the world today.

Not only would it be nice if people started to put their ideas out there, but people need to start grappling with these ideas if we are to gain real traction on some of the biggest challenges we face today.

?Poverty, hunger, health, health care, global crises, deforestation, water problems, all these need people with ideas. They need to fix it and they need to work hard on it.?

We are on the threshold of the biggest change in values in culture and the economy. Believe it or not, socially conscious entrepreneurs ignite this change and take it to the next level. More entrepreneurial thinkers are needed to steer the emerging technology ecosystem, develop the first business models, and bring new innovations to the market.

As our world grapples with a global pandemic coupled with an economic recession of epic proportions - exacerbated by long-overdue social unrest - it is time to prioritize the economy. The sole pursuit of profit at all costs must be replaced by the desire to build a business that creates a better future for all, rather than simply enjoying economic success. Only socially conscious entrepreneurs can continue to serve as employees, contractors and our communities as we fight.

COVID-19 has revealed what many conscious companies already know: there is an inherent conflict between economic priorities, human rights and social well-being. The argument that companies should not speculate on people's needs has led to a decoupling of the business world from social needs.

When people tell you that your ideas are crazy, they have you on the right path. Remember that the crazy ones are the ones who are myopic in regards to incrementalism and linear approaches to problems of exponential proportions and believe that they can make a difference.
