The existence model resides in QUANTUM REALM.

The existence model ENGLISH - AWARENESS = SOUL= {{ Inner_vision_?? + WISDOM_?????? with GUNA's + Observer/Witness Consciousness_????? [accumulated over several life cycles appearences] + ??????_EGO Consciousness [Present Birth/life cycle) }}

MENTAL STATES are a cartesian of Ego_Material_Consciousness_GROSSBody + Ego_Consciousness_SubtleBody, as projected/represented in the present life/birth cycle in the material world, and is carved out of EGO Consciousness from the existence model.

The MATERIAL WORLD is therefore, a reflection or projection of the MENTAL STATES carved out of EGO_MaterialBody_Consciousness (creates Gross Body) + Ego_SubtleBody_Consciousness (creates subtle or shadow represented from ??????_EGO Consciousness from the existence model existing in the QUANTUM REALM).

Why do we call FLOWER as FLOWER? because, it gives us experience of the FLOWER, FLOWER_QUALIA to the AWARENESS.

Why do we call ROCK as ROCK? because, it gives us experience of the ROCK, ROCK_QUALIA to the AWARENESS.

Monks, All the Material World OBJECTS exists in the form of OBJECT_Consciousness and they are representations of MENTAL STATES that exist in QUANTUM REALM for each of the OBJECTS. Some of these OBJECTS have COMMON_MENTAL_STATES, while others may have one_to_one relationship with MENTAL STATES having specific mental states as is in the case of HUMAN BEINGS.

Thus, ROCK is Conscious, MOUNTAINS are Conscious (inanimate Consciousness), and similarly, BEINGS are Conscious ("sentient"), ANIMALS Are Conscious, PLANTS are Conscious, and so on.

EVERY REPRESENTATION that we see in MATERIAL_WORLD is Conscious. They only differ in AWARENESS and Volitional Act features. inanimate objects do not have AWARENESS and they can not perform volitional acts (Physical, mental, or verbal actions).

QUALIA can be born only out of Consciousness, therefore every object we come across in the material_world is first CONVERTED into the OBJECT_Consciousness and then further represented to the AWARENESS as QUALIA. Just like frames of pictures are first converted to movie format before being made available to the MOVIE SCREEN/DASHBOARD, in the same way, all the objects that are received by SENSES are first converted into The Consciousness before being made available to the AWARENESS in the form of QUALIA.

Thus, FLOWER is first converted into FLOWER_Consciousness and is then reflected to the AWARENESS as a FLOWER_QUALIA.

Thus, ROCK is first converted into ROCK_Consciousness and is then reflected to AWARENESS as a ROCK_QUALIA.

CONCLUSION:

FLOWERS are Conscious, ROCKS are Conscious, MOUNTAINS are Conscious, and every material object that one comes across is therefore "Conscious". They only differ in AWARENESS and VOLITIONAL ACT features, either available fully or partially or NOT AVAILABLE et all.
