The 10th of October marks World Mental Health Day. It is a day that aims to raise awareness about one of the most costly health conditions in the world today.

Two of the most common mental health conditions, depression and anxiety, cost the global economy US$ 1 trillion each year.

-World Health Organisation

Crucially, much of this cost comes from presenteeism, indicating that conditions need not be serious to have a serious drag on productivity.

What is perhaps just as significant, is how widespread mental health conditions are. More than half of us will experience some form of mental health condition at some point in our lives.

That's why we believe that the key to tackling mental health issues efficiently and pre-emptively is by turning the workplace from a source of stress to a source of support.
