World Kindness Day 2021

As an autistic person, at many times throughout my life, I did not feel like this planet, was my world…
Trying desperately to find my “purpose†… There had to be one… please!
Be kind to others
Consciously (this is not evident for my disabled mind), I learned that just giving a smile, giving praise, uplifts and empowers others…
Be kind to yourself
I also learned and very much fail, but that is learning for you… that you must be kind to yourself. This is tough! It feels selfish, right?
But here is a tip: When you are kind to yourself, you strengthen yourself, so that you can be more kind to others.
Be kind to the world:
Finally, we are on this planet together. Making this world a better place to live in, is being kind to future generations, making your kindness last forever.
Now… that is a Purpose…

3 年Thank you for this important reminder Michael Vermeersch. At the end of the day, It’s all that matters. Being autistic too, I don’t differentiate between work or non work relationships. For me, we are all humans and we should always treat people the way we’d like to be treated. Maybe more people should see the world like we do. If they did I wouldn’t have to keep sharing this hashtag #dontbeadick. Every day should be #worldkindnessday
