World Goes Without News As Google News Feed Hit By Glitch

The world was left astonished when new stories didn’t appear due to a glitch on Google News. This glitch on Google News has caused frustration among millions of users across the world, especially those who rely on Google News as their primary source of curated news content.

“A bug has caused a glitch, which also disrupted the normal functioning of Google News. As a result, users across the world were not able to see news articles from their preferred websites. Due to this glitch, users of Google News have been encountering difficulties when attempting to read stories from sources they have previously marked as favorites,” Says Google in a news release.

While the exact cause of this bug remains undisclosed, however, it appears to be localized to the Google News platform. Other platforms run and operated by Google remain unaffected by this issue.

Google News is one of the largest online news portals, receiving a large chunk of online news readers, may publications have experienced a huge dip in their traffic due to this glitch. The tech giant (Google) claims to be working on identifying the root cause of this problem that has prevented loading news stories on Google News. At the same time, there is no defined timeline shared by Google for when the problem will be resolved.

Due to this glitch on Google News, many online visitors also expressed their frustration on various online platforms and highlighted the inconvenience they’ve been facing due to the bug. A news reader on Google News claimed “I’ve been unable to access stories from my favorite websites. I feel like I am disconnected from the information I rely on. Google News has always been my first choice of reading news online and now since it’s down, I don’t know where to go for the latest updates about the Global News.”
