Recently I have been asking myself and around me ( Even, I entered into a conversation with Chat GPT about this :-)) about the influence of LinkedIn and other AI supported platforms to create profiles find jobs, review CVs, ..., in the standardisation of how individuals are showcasing themselves.
What is the definition of "fake"?
The definition of "fake" generally refers to something that is not genuine, authentic, or real. It implies a deliberate attempt to deceive or present something falsely. "Fake" can apply to various aspects of life, including objects, information, behaviors, or even people.
What happened lately in the world and the acceleration of fake news.
The proliferation of fake news in recent years has indeed been a concerning trend. The advent of technology and the rise of social media platforms have made it easier for misinformation and disinformation to spread rapidly and reach a large audience. This poses several dangers and challenges for society.
One major danger associated with fake news is the erosion of trust in traditional media and information sources.
