World EV Day 2024: An ICCT India Perspective

This #WorldEVDay, September 9, 2024, as the world celebrates and encourages transition towards electric mobility, one of the most used clean fuels, we at The International Council on Clean Transportation in India bring you a reading list of what you should know about the transition towards electric vehicles (EVs) in India and catalysts for this transition in the country.

This year the #WorldEVDay is important also because India’s automotive sector is at a crossroads. The country is approximately five years behind major markets in the #EV transition and therefore needs decisive leadership to move forward.
