Today is World Diabetes Day! (14/Nov/2022)

Both my daughter Alana and I are Type 1 Diabetics, Alana diagnosed in 2013, and me in 1989

There are so many ways to find out more, you can choose one of the links below, you can reach out to me directly.

The first photo is a combination of Alana at diagnosis, and then 1.5 years later. The second is of her on her 12th birthday. The 3rd photo is her and I in AustraliaThe last 2 photos are a little more "confronting" ... they are "stats" about living with Type 1 Diabetes ... See if you can spot which is Alana's and which is mine !

They're big numbers, they continue to surprise me ... I choose to look at them as the strength of living with, not living for, type 1 diabetes
