The World is a dangerous place
David Gilks
I use neuroscience and ancient wisdom to help individuals discover the one thing that will change everything.
The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it. Albert Einstein
I read this quote and it sat with me for a while, stewing inside my mind and soul for a while. It reminded me of an author, Andy Andrews, who posed a similar question "can you be a good person but have weak character"? You can be a good person in the sense of you don't steal, you pay your taxes, you're not malicious or unkind, but not doing bad does not mean you're doing good.
As Andy Andrews pointed out, being a person of strong character is where our good intentions are put into action, where beliefs systems are evident in our day to day behavior, and we no longer pay lip service, declaring what kind of person we are, we show it by our deeds, so 'that our place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.'
