World Cup 2023: The dream of India

Since the arrival of cricket in India by the Britishers, Cricket has come a long way and now it is celebrated as a festival and it is no less than a religion. Fans of all ages can be found throughout India and the World Cup Edition 2023, being played on a home turf is nothing but a treat to watch.

India has previously won the World Cup twice, first in 1983 and second in 2011 and it will aim for this edition as the third feather in the victory cap. Cricket stadiums are packed to their full capacities, hotels in match venue cities are crowded, and trains departing for major cities are packed to the brim. This is nothing but a clear demonstration of the madness of cricket in India.

Indian cricket team has not let its fans down by being undefeated to date in their 6 games played and will look to keep the winning train going till the finals. Every player has contributed to his full potential and has been a complete team effort. It can be rightly said that the Indian team is the most balanced team of the 10 teams participating in the World Cup.

Every Indian is praying for the Indian team and wishes to see them compete in the final which is scheduled for November 19, 2023. One can only hope and pray that this year, the World Cup comes back to India and everyone can enjoy the fever of cricket to its fullest.
