World Cancer Day - Thursday, February 4th, 2021

As you might know, my daughter, Bridget, is a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Students of the Year Campaign. Her team, Bridge to a Cure, is raising funds to support the organization's mission to cure blood cancers. Since 1949, LLS has invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today's most innovative approaches. Since 2017, LLS has helped advance more than 85% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatment options. But still, every 3 minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every 9 minutes, someone loses their battle to blood cancer. This is why she’s working to create a future without blood cancers!
