The World in Black & White

If seeing the world in black and white was to have a simple view of what is right and wrong, or good and bad, one would be deceiving oneself.

Life is not always black and white, it's a million shades of grey. As there's no right or wrong, but perception; It's not about truth or false, but circumstances; It's not about pass or fail, but luck; It's not yes or no, but subjective; It’s all grey!

If Black equals wrong, negative or bad, and White equals right, positive or good, then Grey equals all possibilities in between.

Given such assumptions, one could say that everything is shades of grey.

As we know, morality is situational and any particular moral belief is subject to change over time.

Nothing’s pure white or pure black. Nothing is permanent in our life. Nothing make always sense. People are not just good or bad most of us are a little bit of both. You can love and hate something at the same or at different given time.

There will always be contrasting opinions, ideas and beliefs none are “correct” and it’s only when you factor in everything that you get the full picture. And the full picture is complicated. Real life does not fit into two distinct categories.

When people say that things are "not always black and white" what they’re saying is that life is complicated. Things cannot always be defined in simple terms, or judged beyond reasonable doubt…
