World Architecture Day. New Bilbao.

On World Architecture Day, we take a look at Bilbao, a city that, driven by the Guggenheim, has advanced towards cutting-edge urbanism in the last 25 years without renouncing its industrial roots. Traditional buildings, with their characteristic red brick, now coexist with modern skyscrapers that have transformed its skyline.

One example of this urban evolution is the Garellano area, where five residential towers (the last one under construction) now rise and the new Termibus with its large square, hosting new commercial areas, a hotel and a student residence.

This is how the Basurto district has been transformed, becoming the trendy residential area of Bilbao in the 21st century, where our aluminum systems are also protagonists
