This candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in mining, metals, and port facilities, having held senior positions such as Principal Planner, Head of Construction, Lead Shutdown Planner, Project Superintendent, and Management Consultant.

They have worked alongside major clients, including BHP, Rio Tinto, CBH, and Fortescue Metals, contributing to high-profile capital projects such as BHP Major Projects, HATCH – BHP Nickel Smelter Renewal, and Rio Tinto Marine Projects, including jetty superstructure repairs and dredging campaigns. Additionally, they have been involved in CBH Capital Projects, spanning both Greenfield and Brownfield developments.

With over a decade of experience, this candidate brings strong cultural awareness and the ability to manage the full project life cycle. They have a proven track record in overseeing complex projects, leveraging a background in boilermaking and site trade exposure, site execution leadership, senior stakeholder engagement, risk management, and safety protocols. Skilled in planning systems, they have successfully implemented integrated software solutions to streamline operations across all levels.

A proactive and experienced engineering and logistics manager with over 23 years’ experience in automotive and mobile plant fleet repair and maintenance scheduling, including fleet and procurement management, having worked from apprentice to manager. Extremely goal-driven and team-focused, can be relied upon to motivate personnel by driving and promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement with a ‘go get’ attitude. Heavily experienced in analytical work and problem solving, improving engineering efficiency and reducing errors. Accountable for reporting directly to senior directors in the past on managing production output, modification updates, trend analysis, risk management, change management and providing future fleet procurement advice. Exceptionally adaptable, operating predominantly within a fleet production environment, though often at reach globally, under arduous conditions with limited resources across the globe and at short notice.

Experienced in managing contractors and construction crews, with proven expertise in the installation of Metso Ball Mills with electrical and mechanical drives. Demonstrates strong leadership in delegating tasks and driving quality improvements while effectively outlining action plans and interpreting statistical data. Highly proficient in analysing and interpreting complex data and information to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
