A workshop was organised at NC Medical College to familiarity the doctors with the principles of Good Clinical Practice. The workshop was inaugurated by the institute's Chairman Bhushan Gupta and Principal Dr NK Mohindru. 110 participants including PG students participated in the organised workshop.
HMC Supervisor Dr. Satish Khattar said that medical teachers and researchers should take special care of ethical values. Dr. Isha Gupta said that Good Clinical Practice is an international ethical and scientific quality standard for designing, conducting, recording and reporting clinical trials involving human participants. This protects the rights, safety and welfare of the participants. The principles have been outlined by ICMR as per international guidelines. On this occasion, committee member secretaries Dr. BK Gupta, Dr. KC Aggarwal, Dr. Jasdeep Monga, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Kalra, Dr. Shikha Goyal and Dr. Navodita Pandey were also present.
